A mattress and a baby...that is really all we need to make the room habitable. Ok...we really only need the mattress, but the baby would be using the mattress so I’m counting the baby as a need.
After the baby showers and due to the generosity of all our friends, the room is starting to look like a place where you could dump a baby (not just a place to dump furniture).
As you can see from the pictures below, all the furniture is now in the room, including the full size bed and glider rocker. Both of those pieces are newly spray painted black and hopefully will stay that way. When I moved them into the room today, I noticed I missed a few spots and have already banged them up and chipped some of the paint. Oh well…I am going to call it "distressed" and say that it's supposed to look like that.
Also, notice “C-A-L-E-B” hanging on the wall (see view #2). Those letters have been painted with love by Allison, Me and my sister, Sarah.
