This has been a holiday to remember. We had a white Christmas in Texas and Stephen got a Playstation 3! Both occurrences will be talked about for years to come.
Below is a picture of “the little house in the hood” on Christmas Eve all covered in snow.
I’ve also included a couple of pictures looking up and down our street all covered with snow.
It was bitterly cold, but not cold enough to keep us from getting our picture made in the Texas blizzard. Caleb didn’t really know what to make of the snow. Below is a picture of my brother David, my son Caleb, my beautiful wife Allison and myself.
Allison, Caleb and I ventured out in the arctic winds to go to Grandpa Jeff’s and Grammi-chelle’s house for Christmas Eve dinner. Grandpa made Caleb a rocking horse for Christmas and eventually I bet Caleb will think it is wonderful!

The Christmas gift exchange was, of course, all about the Playstation…oh I mean Caleb…
Really, I think Caleb was jealous of his father’s gift. Maybe I will let him play my PLAYSTATION 3 when he gets a little older.
I think other people opened gifts as well, but I can’t seem to remember any of those. I just know that their gifts were not PLAYSTATION 3s!

Papaw Travis…
Grandma Marilyn
Uncle David…
Aunt Sarah…
In celebration of the PLAYSTATION 3, we all posed for family pictures to remember the day.

It was nice of the others to pretend to smile even though they didn't get PS3's.
