Thursday:
Allison's mom, Terri, came for a visit this weekend to meet Caleb. We went and picked Terri up from the airport on Thursday evening and made a little stop off by Starbucks to get Caleb a cup of coffee. It was the first time Caleb had ever been in a Starbucks. He ordered the same thing Terri did…Tall Americano, quad shot, double cup, room for cream and an extra cup for half and half on the side.
Friday:
The next morning I had to go to work so Allison and Caleb took Terri to get her hair done and then they took a much needed trip to the grocery store. That evening we all went out to eat at Macaroni Grill. We ordered dessert in honor of Allison’s brother’s birthday… Happy 26th Birthday Ryan.
Saturday:
On Saturday morning, I took a trip to our local Starbucks because Caleb has now become addicted to the Tall Americano, quad shot, double cup, room for cream and an extra cup for half and half on the side. It is amazing what a little caffeine will do to a three month old boy! By the time I got home from Starbucks, it was time for me to leave and meet my friends Dennis and Margaret for our monthly nursing home visit. We did our little “song and dance” and when I got back to the house Allison’s sister (Brianna), her Aunt (Marian), her niece (Laureli), her nephew (Jacob) and her other niece (Elaina) were at our house for a little family reunion. I meant to get a picture with Caleb and all his cousins, but they all left before I got around to it.
Enjoy a picture of the boy cousins…Jacob and Caleb.
That evening we took Terri back to the airport and she flew back towards the northeast to the fun and sun of central Arkansas.
Sunday:
We didn’t go to church. I’m sorry to say we played hooky. I was supposed to go to work that morning and Allison needed the rest. Here it is 12:30pm and I am NOT at work (where I should be), but here writing this blog entry. I just can’t seem to get motivated.
