Mean Mommy!

This would have been the sonogram where we would have found out if the new baby was a bouncing baby boy or a beautiful baby girl, but NO...that did not happen! Mean mean mommy does not want to find out. I wonder when she will want to know…perhaps when the kid is three or four years old!?

I guess the only consolation is that we got to see a few pictures. Since we got to see the pictures, you get to see the pictures too!

The baby was really moving and the technician was having a hard time getting the baby to pose. We did get a few snap shots to share though.

The 3D Sonogram

Today we had the 3D sonogram. It was the coolest thing ever! My mom, sister and I went to view the spectacle.

At first we were afraid that Caleb was not going to cooperate. He spent the first part of the show with half of his face buried in the placenta…ew. After much prodding by the technician, he finally turned around and we could see the glory that was my son. He is the most handsome boy ever, even though we think he is going to have the “family nose”.

The First Picture

Our first appointment with this pregnancy was on May 13, 2008. Since we miscarried very early with our first pregnancy, I was a little gun shy about getting too excited about the baby. However, hearing the heartbeat helped calm my fears a little. Every day brings us closer to “birthing the spawn” as I have been known to call it.
