My brilliant son...

My son is completely brilliant. I don’t know how else to put it. I know that it may sound a little conceited and you may think that I am somewhat biased, but I don’t think you will after you look at the next few pictures…

This great realization of my son’s brilliance came to me one evening when Caleb demanded to play with his alphabet blocks. I could tell that he was trying to tell us something very important. It was almost as if what he was trying to tell us was a matter of life or death. Since his ability to vocalize complete thoughts has yet to be developed, I suppose he chose his alphabet blocks as his medium for communication. He would not be satisfied until we knew what he wanted to tell us.

Caleb sat on our living room floor searching for the correct blocks...

He would look up occasionally to confirm that Allison and I were still watching. The air was heavy with anticipation as Caleb slowly began to organize the individual blocks into words. Allison and I were shocked…A nine month old is not supposed to be able to do this.

I am a little ashamed that I doubted my son’s abilities. After all, I’m surprised that Caleb could keep such a message to himself for as long as he did. See my son's first literary effort...

Smart, but naive.

You are hilarious. Does Caleb have enough blocks to spell out "My dad is full of it" ?
